Mission Statement
The Benedictine Sisters Retreat Center is a ministry of
Sacred Heart Monastery. The Center responds to the
needs of the local church and all the people of God by
providing space and services for a variety of retreats
and diocesan programs. It also develops and
implements special programs in prayer, spirituality, and
human development, all of which encourage people to
deepen their relationship with God.
The Center is a channel through
which the Monastic Community shares
with the people of God its particular
charism which includes praying
the Liturgy of the Hours,
celebrating the Eucharistic Liturgy
in a Monastic setting, and witnessing
the value of community living.
