About Us

The Benedictine Sisters of Cullman, Alabama embody the spiritual wisdom and monastic tradition of St. Benedict through lives of prayer and ministry.  In the 21st century we practice ageless monastic disciplines such as humility, silence, community living, and obedience as we strive to deepen our relationships with God, with one another, and with all of creation.  Our community life is marked by joy, reverence for one another and our guests, and fidelity to prayer.
