The Oblates of our community gathered this past weekend for their annual retreat. Sister Priscilla Cohen, Oblate Director, planned and coordinated the gathering. The oblates themselves were the featured speakers with presentations by Cathy Randall, Claudia Davis, and Jan White. Cathy presented a beautiful video of her participation last month in the V Congress of Benedictine Oblates in Rome. Claudia spoke on some of her gleanings from her participation in Monasteries of the Heart, and Jan shared from her experience with a recent Zoom series on Benedictine Spirituality. Rich sharing was enjoyed by all, both in the meeting itself and during meal and leisure time.
Three Oblates were enrolled as Oblate Candidates – Joil and Leah Marbut, and Elizabeth Garcia.
