Sister Sara Aiden Burress, Director of the community’s Oblate program, recently attended the biennial meeting of the North American Association of Benedictine Oblate Directors (NAABOD). Sister Sara was accompanied by Marilyn Williams, an Oblate of our community.
Carrying Wisdom Accross the Threshold was the theme of the meeting, which was held at the St. Benedict Center in Schuyler, NE, and featured three Benedictine monastics as speakers. Both Sister Sara Aiden and Marilyn spoke enthusiastically about their experience, especially the opportunity to meet other Directors and Oblates.
