How Do I Choose?: Discernment Practices (Zoom) Mar. 22, 2022

March 22, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

What does discernment look like? What are some practical things I can do to discern new directions, make difficult choices, or cultivate greater wisdom? This retreat workshop offers several tools drawn from the long Benedictine tradition of discernment, and with short opportunities to experience one or more of them.

Presenter: Sister Edith Bogue, OSB

Sister Edith Bogue, OSB, is a Benedictine sister recently transplanted to Sacred Heart Monastery in Cullman from a monastic community in the Midwest. A sociologist and social worker by training, she has also served as oblate and vocation director. A retreat leader and spiritual director, she joined the staff of the Benedictine Sisters Retreat Center in July 2021.

Fee: $25.00

The participants will keep silence for the weekend, but there will be opportunities for questions and discussion about the practice. To register, please select ONE of the following options.
